ICT access, openness, privacy and security offer increased potential for social, economic, and political positives changes, in particular for poor and marginalized people in developing countries. Hence, they are cornestone of our strategic priorities.

Governance

ICT legal and institutional framework strengthening program
Digital exclusion and insecurity are a reality in Senegal as being in mobile networks and the internet is becoming more and more important. The program tackle policy issues related to access to the Internet, it openness, accessibility and affordability. It addresses the following subject too: Freedom of expression, Right to information, Privacy, Personal Data Protection and Security.

Democracy and Development

Program to strengthen participatory democracy

The main goal of the program is to contribute to the consolidation of the democracy through citizen participation, parliamentary transparency, politics accountability. The indicators to assess achievement are : An Open and Transparent National Assembly, MPs accountability improvement and citizen participation in legislative process.
